About NELLY (Our Fearless Leader)
Nelson Perez, or “Nelly,” was born in the Dominican Republic, and moved with his family to New England in the United States when he was 8 years old in search of a better life.
Nelly’s family came to America with no assets and no English – only a vision for a brighter future.
Nelly then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia when he was 16 years old, and he has been a West Atlanta native ever since.
Fast forward some years, Nelly got his start as a sales representative at a corporate-owned AT&T store. Through Nelly’s ability to identify others’ needs, within the first month, he became the best producer at his location, earning “#1 salesperson of the month” for 16 months straight!
Nelly began his next career as an international sales representative at TOTO, which is the world’s largest toilet manufacturer. Nelly specialized in inside sales and client success, and managed the distribution of 5 million dollars worth of products every year, across 28 different clients in 28 different countries, while simultaneously helping them market and better sell their products.
Though being a great member of the TOTO team, Nelly sought more fulfillment in helping other businesses directly.
This began his journey with Nelly IS Marketing.
Nelly chose the path of Digital Marketing, and began studying the subject matter in his off time for up to 5 hours a day for over 1.5 years straight!
After investing over 1,500+ hours in education and feeling like he had gathered a strong understanding of digital marketing, Nelly then decided to (while still being employed full-time with TOTO) accept an opportunity to work with another marketing agency for 400+ hours for absolutely free, with the sole purpose of testing and further honing his abilities.
Once Nelly had run over $500,000 in ad spend, and had proven his understanding of the algorithm and marketing as a whole in several niches, he resigned from his position with TOTO and began accepting his own clients in late 2019.
Nelly has since had the pleasure of serving several 7 & 8-figure clients across the US & Canada, who have massive paid advertising budgets.
This has given him insight into what it really takes to successfully navigate and manage the sales, marketing, and operations of an 8-figure business.
Through gaining this experience, he is able to ‘carry over’ this knowledge & expertise into any business he serves, and help them to break past barriers by automating many processes inside of their business.
Nelly’s personal mission is to form a real relationship with every client and ensure that they have ongoing success.
